FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can Teams attend?
Yes. There is a team discount for teams of 10 or more. Please e-mail email@example.com for the code that needs to be applied at checkout.
What is the camp refund policy?
Prior to April 30, 2018 a refund can be issued, minus the processing and registration fee. After that, a refund less $150 can be issued up until 14 days prior to the start of camp. Any withdrawal after that will result in a $150 cancellation fee and the remaining balance will be credited to your account and can be applied toward the registration for a future camp. If a deposit was paid and you wish to withdraw from camp, $100 of the initial payment is non-refundable.
What forms are required in order for my child to participate?
You will be required to electronically sign a release form, refund policy, and photo ID before you will be allowed to complete registration online. There are no additional forms needed after that.
What items should my child bring to camp?
Overnight Campers: Gymnastics attire and hand guards/grips (if you wear them), Shorts, T-shirts, Running shoes, Flip-Flops, Swimsuit, Bed Linens (sleeping bag), Pillow, Towels, Soap, Things for Tie-Dye Night, Radio for your rooms (if you want one), Clock for the room. Remember to tag all clothing and luggage with your name. Do NOT bring jewelry or other valuable items that you DO NOT NEED at camp.
Commuter Campers: Gymnastics attire and hand guards/grips (if you wear them), Shorts, T-shirts, Running shoes.
When and where is check in?
Overnight Campers: Camp Check-in is June 22nd from 8:00am-10:00am at Residential College Dorms on the corner of Dalrymple and Cypress.
Day Campers: Camp Check-in June 28th. Check-in will begin at 8:00am at the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse. Come to the Nicholson Drive entrance of the Field House for registration. There will be signs indicating the entrance. You will be asked to leave the campers with us for this training session and return to pick them up (Pickup/Checkout time TBD). There is no room in the training area to allow for parents and siblings, however, we encourage you to stop by our training center to purchase LSU Gymnastics merchandise.
Saturday - Sunday Day Campers check in at the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse between 8:15am and 9:00am. Camp will begin at 9:00am. Please pickup your child Saturday and Sunday (Time TBD). Closing Ceremonies will be held on Sunday (Time TBD).
How do I get to camp? (Driving directions)
Directions to the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse: LSU Gymnastics Training Center:
From I-10 (east or west)
Exit onto Dalrymple (take a right off of exit)
Follow past the Visitor’s Center
Vere left around the Indian Mounds (two large grass covered hills on the left)
Turn right onto S. Stadium drive
Turn right onto Nicholson
Turn right into the fieldhouse parking lot
(Use this entrance to avoid school traffic during the week)
What meals are provided?
Overnight Campers: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner is provided. Campers should bring a few dollars for snacks if they would like to (no more than $5.00 per day).
Day Campers: Lunch are provided. Campers should bring a few dollars for snacks if they would like to (no more than $5.00 per day).
What are Theme Days?
Day 1 Theme : USA Day – Wear the starts and stripes to represent the USA. Be creative, have fun!
Nighttime Activity – Tie-dye – bring something white that your child would like to tie-dye; we will also have ice-cream sundae’s
Day 2 Theme : LSU Day - be as school spirited as possible with your LSU leotard, face tattoos, bows, etc.
Picture Day: all gymnast will take a group picture as well as an individual picture with Coach Breaux. Pictures will be available for purchase on the last day of camp.
Lunchtime/Nighttime Activity - TBD
Day 3 Theme : Tropical Tuesday – wear tropical themed clothing/leotard
Lunchtime Activity: Shopping at the LSU Bookstore/Camp
What is a typical day like?
7:00am - Rise and Shine
7:30-8:30am - Breakfast at the Dorm in Tiger Room
9:00am - Day campers arrive
9:30am-12:00pm - Gymnastics Rotations
12:15pm - Lunch
2:00-4:45pm - Gymnastics Rotations
5:00pm - Day Campers leave
5:30-6:30pm - Dinner
7:00-8:30pm - Open Gym Time (supervised)
8:30-9:30pm - Evening Activities
9:30pm - In Rooms
10:00pm - Lights Out

Our Team Trainer will be on hand to handle any problems that may arise.
